Netflix is the Devil. I can't count the number of shows I've been "addicted" to. Although it's easy to admit that I have a problem now, it wasn't a few days ago. While Stevie was giving his presentation, I thought about the guy in another one of my classes who had watched the entire series of Breaking Bad in three days and thought, "Wow, that's insane. That guy has a problem.". But then I thought about the day I was having. Wait, I was almost late to this class because I had to finish that particular episode of The Office. The sixth episode in a row I had watched that day. Oh crap.
I feel guilty for spending so much time on Netflix. I would honesty stop using it, buuuuuuut the second season of Orange is the New Black is coming on in June and I don't know if I can go without (addict behaviors). I don't care. I love TV. It's a way for me to relax, to laugh, to escape from stress of deadlines and money. I'm definitely going to be in debt after I graduate from college, but Michael Scott made is so ignorant and funny that it doesn't matter in the moment. So sue me, I'll keep watching. People spent a lot of money and time on the scripts, productions, etc. and it would be rude of me to skip out on their shows.........right?
(Update: I finished The Office...crying. Now I'm on to Bob's Burgers. Review: Not too shabby. Also, Louise is my spirit animal.)
