Reality show Honey Boo Boo utilizes the social ethic that people cannot discriminate the fat to gain public support. It also tries to cater to the people’s imagination of how the poor should behave and think. The family in the Honey Boo Boo is quite satisfied with their current condition. They never introspect themselves of their unhealthy eating habit and life styles and they even are proud of their life style and give it a nice label that they are stay true to themselves. People always imagine that the poor with little education are shallow and easy to indulge themselves. People take it for granted that the poor should be in a ridiculous situation. People try to separate themselves with the working class in order to gain confidence and sense of superiority when they watch this kind of show. In order to meet people’s expectation and chive a high audience rate, the producer designs the family in Honey Boo Boo even more absurd. The family in the Honey Boo Boo is also glad to pretend as freneza as possible because they can gain a huge amount of money and fame. In this way, this reality show goes extreme. Everybody’s desire is satisfied. However, I really worry about the little girl in the Honey Boo Boo. I feel so sad that the little girl has already lost all her reputation and immerse herself in the sightless confidence even when she has not developed a personal right value standard. And this is all because of the TV show producer’s design. How long could she be this native? Will she hate her mum when she finally realizes that most of the audiences are just treat her as a joke?
