My 'Bubba Watson Crying' Opinion

Someone earlier posted about how Bubba Watson should not have cried after he had won the Master's this past weekend. They spoke about the feminism approach and how it related to Bubba. I just do not agree with this statement.

I definitely would not agree that Bubba is like a woman for hysterically sobbing, like he did. Like it was stated earlier, the Master's is just like the Super Bowl of football or the Wimbledon of tennis. It is played on a huge stage, on the most majestic golf course in America. In my own opinion, I think that being a multi-winner of this tournament is much more impressive than being a multi-winner of a Super Bowl. The type of pressure that these players are under trumps every other sport; not to mention, they are by themselves.

When Tiger Woods won his first Masters in 1997, he was every emotional after his victory. Those of you who are golf fans will remember the moment when Tiger was hugging his father. Or how about the moment when Michael Jordan won for the Bulls...? I would never stop being a fan of these two 'athletic icons' because they were crying.

I have been playing golf since I was 5 years old and if I was in the shoes of Bubba Watson, I would do the same thing. When playing golf, shooting your best round, or getting a hole-in-one is emotional. I would never cry because of that. But the Master's?! The biggest thing you can accomplish in golf?! That is something worth crying for.

Emotions run high in every single sport. Chasing your dreams and accomplishing them is more than a reason to be emotional. You don't have to be sad or upset to cry. Crying shows an emotion. The feminism approach doesn't relate to Bubba Watson. He is a man, he loves the game, and he did things that only a few have accomplished and that most people will never accomplish.
